Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025
The old circuit, known as the Caesars Palace Grand Prix Circuit, hosted races in 1981 and 1982. In the first year, Alan Jones defeated Frenchman Alain Prost, while in the following year, Michele Alboreto came out on top. He held off John Watson and Eddie Cheever, who finished second and third, respectively.
This year, the weekend returns, and the race will take place in November. The Las Vegas Street Circuit is 6.120 kilometers long and has 14 corners. With the long straight along The Strip, the expectation is that cars with the most powerful engines will have the greatest chance of winning, though surprises are not out of the question.

GP Las Vegas results 2024
In 2024 Mercedes dominated the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the team’s performance had been majorly inconsistent throughout the F1 season, but they got it together in this event. George Russell has a perfect weekend, converting Pole Position to victory. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, however, did not impress in Qualifying and started further down the order. The seven-time world champion more than made up for this during the Grand Prix as he climbed up to second. Ferrari came home in third and fourth place, with Sainz taking the final step on the podium. Verstappen only managed a P5, but this did not stop him from becoming a four-time world champion.
Lewis Hamilton in the Las Vegas GP
Only two races have been held in Las Vegas during Hamilton’s F1 career, and he has not been able to win either one of them. In 2023 Mercedes had a tough time around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, and only managed a P7 and P8 finish. Last year, the Brit might have had a chance at winning had he not qualified so poorly. Ultimately, George Russell led a one-two finish for Mercedes in the 2024 Las Vegas GP.
